[converted] Derwyll´s Castle - Debugger - 08-28-2010

Hello there!

Derwyll´s Castle

For first, this is not a map made by me. All rights go to the original author of the map.

This is a converted ctf map, originally made for q3. I tested the map in xonotic (nexuiz and xonotic screenshots). The map should work on Nexuiz and Xonotic, both with some remaining textures/shaders.
There is a problem, I wasnt able to find all missing textures when converting the map. (If jumping through the map, you maybe wont see missing textures Tongue) As soon as I found missing textures (or better ones) Ill update here.
Here is a list of the missing textures(for nexuiz), please help to find them Smile :

there area some cool effects in this level we could learn from. The textures all seem to be missing on the models and jumppads ect. The model files in the pk3 are empty? thats where the textures should be as far as i can tell?

MDL textures are burned into bsp. It's author's courtesy to put them separately.

Indeed, Cuinnton. There are empty folders to put the missing textures in. I just created them, if a missing texture is found, you just have to insert!

I like especially the teleporters, they are intresting. But there is a little problem, when using the teleporter. If getting out of it, you will be pushed into a tree (or something like that Wink). I dont know if the original author wanted it to be like that, I dont have a problem with it Tongue

If the textures work in nexuiz, there's a good chance they won't work in xonotic, and vise versa.

I tested the map now on xonotic git too. It runs, some shaders/textures are missing (these are not missing in nexuiz!)
I updated my post above with download link and screenshots.

Unfortunately, this cant't be included in xonotic (unless you got author permission and it's gpl).

However, servers can host it and whatnot.
