Hi all! I'm in Texas USA and I'm new here and kind of new to Xonotic. I once tried to play it years ago but never could get it to work right. It seems a lot more user friendly nowadays. Or maybe I just didn't know what I was doing back then lol. I have learned a lot more about Linux and gaming since then too. Regardless, I'm glad to be here and learn as much as I can. I love this game! I used to play Assault Cube and Nexuiz but the versions in my distro's repos were old and outdated. They were still fun nonetheless. I like Xonotic way better though! I hope everyone that celebrates Thanksgiving has a good one! Cheers!

Thanks so much! After reading through the newbie guide, I think I need to practice getting down the mechanics of movement and getting my keyboard bindings setup right first and practice playing in single player mode before I hop onto a server. I'm glad there's such a guide to help us newbies!

Hello there! I am new to Xonotic too but glad to be a part of this community. Started to play Xonotic last month when I was visiting my friend in his property in Limassol here and became a fan since that time.
