Pythonistas, please raise your hand

I'm curious who in the community knows some python.

There are a couple Xonotic side-projects in the works involving python and I'm wanting to know who here knows python or has an interest in learning it.

If you know Django, or you're interested in learning Django, that would be plus.

Lemme know.

I love python. I've read a book or two on it and made some programs with it; though I'm not that experienced. I'd definitely rather use python than learn QuakeC.

Edit: Never heard of Django, but I can learn.

I am a novice student of Python. But one who is already involved in too many other free game projects in various capacities.

I have used python for several small projects of mine. I would say I'm "book familiar" with django, having only brought up a very basic site with it.

* RoKenn knows some Python. And I would know more if I had a decent project to learn it with.

I decided to learn it after realizing that perl encourages me to write write-only code. Tongue

If you want to experience the result of my programming effort, have a small chat on IRC with RoQuefort.

PS: Ugh, this forum actually expands /me...

I like Python alot, though I don't have a huge amount of experience with it Sad

I've been learning Django a bit, and want to continue with it but don't have a project or hosting for a project, so I'd love to help out Big Grin

I don't know much Python, but I am more than willing to understand it better. (My C# shell replacement has an IronPython-based plugin system. Tongue)

I know a little python, but not enough to do anything major. I mostly use it in tandem with the blender GE

I like Python but I only write tiny programs (also with other languages, I've never done any "big project")

I use python with pygame for some 'purely fun' projects like snake or tetris. But I would never use it for a big project as I don't like how it forces you to obey it's tabbing rules (which I find ugly). QuakeC/C lets me do that how I want Tongue
