As much as I would like to say that penalizing players directly underneath the ball was intentional, it isn't.
There was a leftover nexball_fault entity at 0,0 I din't notice since it didn't have any volume.
Easy to fix for a next release, though too bad I didn't find out about this before the final contest version.
