Here's my Lucid desktop: http://www.glowfoto.com/static_image/03-1...

Hey Nareth, I've got the same wallpaper as you! Good taste! [/highfive] But seriously, because of the fact that the icons are on the left side of the screen, I used the default GNOME photo viewer to mirror the wallpaper as to not clutter up the picture too much. Perhaps this wallpaper was geared towards Macintosh desktops? Smile

ooh, I like your GTK/icon theme, do you have a link or are they custom?

Mine is nothing special. ArchLinux, AwesomeWM with a somewhat custom theme, xfce4-terminal with GNU Screen inside, irssi.

Thumbnails, please... Otherwise this will turn into another "mapping inspirations" thread Tongue

EDIT: Also, demonstrating a tiling WM using floating windows? Boo!
EDIT2: Just kidding, of course. Your Arch wallpaper is awesome.

Click to enlarge, but there isn't much more to it.

EDIT: I'll have to improve that status line, there's too much static text in it.

N1, I actually like the ultimate simplicity. Is it DWM? If so, what patches?
Reply

#47
Yep, DWM. I cut the boring negative space for the screenshot, hence the weird resolution.

I only use movestack. Also, I haven't updated in a while :X
EDIT: And I added some key bindings, too.
EDIT2: I might add noborder and something like attachaside too.
