Hello to creators and players!

My name is William and I just found out about this game.
I started playing games around wolfenstein came out.
Put really starten playing over the net when Quake 1 released.
Perhabs it's because of that I keep getting pulled to games like quake.

I just played about 1 hour and can already feel that addictive feeling.
I have tried many other modern games like COD 1,2,MW4 etc.
This week I was playing counterstrike. None of those really give me that satisfied feeling I had when I was yonger. I start believing it was my age and missed that feeling. Until I discovered this game and I knew there was some youngh spirit inside me

A few years ago I also tried Nexuiz, but somehow forgot about it. Maybe when I got a new computer. Can't tell for sure.

Just wanted to thank the creators for developing this game.
And ofcource all the players who still like playing oldschool games!

I don't think there's any way to donate money to the project right now(I do not know if there ever will be a way), but you could donate your time towards improving the project if you are a game artist, programmer, or musician. Maybe picking up my old mapping skills. Done some work for Quake1, Quake3 and COD2.

Don't fool yourself about the age of that spirit inside you that this game addresses. 90 % of the Xonotic players are 40+ years old (unless you want to believe in the results of the age survey), we even have an old farts clan if I remember correctly, but my memory starts to fail me more and more lately...
