Profound Velocity on Xonotic!

#1
Profound Velocity is an old school Warsow and Quake 3 DeFrag clan and we have been around in Nexuiz / Xonotic for few years. We love games that has the speed and velocity. We're ready to contribute back in Xonotic community as we get more involved and so on Smile

Our clan was started back in 2007 by our dear leader Hero which you might know as author of #1 StrafeJump Lesson For Xonotic -video, anyways our clan is not a regular clan, but we're more like of family, because in our clan quantity or skills doesnt matter but quality of your personality! :] Read more about our clan here!

Also note our clan is recruiting! You can tell us about yourself within your application.
Apply here to our clan!

Welcome! Thanks a ton for tutorials and lessons, they're so important to building a playerbase. Blindly practicing does not make perfect (unless you're just a badass). Demonstration/explanation of essential tactics and techniques provides players such a greater opportunity to enjoy the game and constantly improve their skills. I hope someone who is a master of the hook will make a demo or a video and demonstrate the keys to making the best use of that tool. A lot of it is self explanatory and intuitive. But tips on how to practice, for example, resurfacing from underneath a map would be REALLY handy. It doesn't get much more frustrating than carrying the flag, spending 2 minutes bumbling around trying to get your trajectory right to swing back topside to score, just waiting to be fragged. (Is it obvious I'm a struggling Xonotic player? lol)

It's all about practice practice practice, but not knowing what you should be practicing kind of guarantees you a regular slot at the bottom of the scoreboards.
Negative, I am a meat popsicle.

Thanks for the ideas, the hook tutorial video is maybe something that our community needs and also there's few other videos related to gametype handling which we're trying to process out! Smile
