Do you have some editing tutorials?

Other members can use this topic too.

My problem:
I know how to use Blender a little, but I never saw someone creating a model for the game using only Linux. I remember reading something at the Nexuiz forums about a Blender script that wouldnt work in Linux, and that made the export impossible (or something like that). Is that true? Can I make player models only using Linux?
I never tried to do this before.

Sorry for my bad english.

To my knowledge, Blender scripts are in Python. I highly doubt that this would be an obstacle between operating systems.

There are plenty of developers within this community who use Linux. I'm sure they would be more than happy to point you in the right direction.
Latest obsession.

Generally its safe to say that we are still in the process of "porting" guides and important posts over from the "old" forum. So either wait a few days, take a look at the old forum or help copying them over, that would actually be a great help! Thanks

In my experience, for static models it's best to just export as .md3 or .ase. There are scripts all over the interwebs, some work better, some worse. Just use google and you should find some Smile

If you're exporting to a playermodel for instance, there used to be some huge confusion with that. Now there's a new format though, .iqm that apparently has a much more straightforward exporting process from Blender to the DP engine. I myself don't know much more about this format, better ask someone else who has already exported to it (/me pokes Dib)
