This is a port of <span style="font-style: italic;" class="mycode_i">DM-Liandri</span> from Unreal Tournament 1999 to Xonotic.<br />
<br />
Credits to Alan 'Talisman' Willard, the author of the original UT99 map.<br />
<br />
No conversion tools were used.<br />
The mapping was done with UnrealEd and NetRadiant running side by side, so the geometry is largely similar between the original map and this one.<br />
However, this port is more detailed and has a different overall atmosphere from the original. It has also been adapted to fit Xonotic's gameplay.<br />

Feedback welcome ! <br />
I had some trouble finding the appropriate scale for this map, let me know what you think (the BSP has been scaled with a factor of 1.10).<br />

<span style="font-weight: bold;" class="mycode_b">Seaforts </span>is a large-scale map built for those who crave atmosphere, vertical combat, and tactical experimentation.<br />
<br />
This is not your usual corridor fragfest. The water rises and falls with a noticeable current that can push you off course if you don’t pay attention. Turrets can be hacked to fight for you, while two flak turrets scan the sky and neutralize rockets and other projectiles. Jetpacks and hooks let you move freely between the towering outposts. Somewhere within the depths,  secret teleporters await.<br />
<br />
Inside the forts you’ll find intense close-quarters combat, with layouts loosely modeled after the real Maunsell interiors. Corners hide items, enemies, and surprises. Outside, the open space invites long-range sniper duels between towers, creating a rhythm of tension and release.<br />
<br />
If you usually play vanilla deathmatch and want to explore something different without leaving your comfort zone, this map offers a mix of classic flow and dynamic features to keep things fresh.<br />

- The map "lavaarena" is an official map in Open Arena. It's my favorite map and I decided to remake it a long time ago (~2022).<br />
- This map is fully finished (though there are some small issues) and can be used in any server.<br />
- You may notice this map is a bit too big in proportions and player feels like 1.5m tall instead of 1.8m tall. <br />
- Any suggestion, advise or critisize is welcome.<br />
- Licenced in GPLv2.<br />
- Contains waypoints for bots<br />

- The map "lavaarena" is an official map in Open Arena. It's my favorite map and I decided to remake it a long time ago (~2022).<br />
- This map is fully finished (though there are some small issues) and can be used in any server.<br />
- You may notice this map is a bit too big in proportions and player feels like 1.5m tall instead of 1.8m tall. <br />
- Any suggestion, advise or critisize is welcome.<br />
- Licenced in GPLv2.<br />
- Contains waypoints for bots<br />

			<description><![CDATA[Hi! I created this map for Quake 3 to celebrate the game's 25th anniversary. However, since Xonotic allows using maps directly from Quake 3, I’m sharing it here with you <img src="https://forums.xonotic.org/images/smilies/smile.png" alt="Smile" title="Smile" class="smilie smilie_1" /> If you like it, I might create a version specifically for Xonotic. <br />
<br />
"Blast from the Past" is a personal retrospection and an attempt to recreate the old apartment where I grew up in Poland. I wanted to once again feel the atmosphere of that time, so I filled it with many memories from the past. You'll find interesting stuff from the 1990s and 2000s (and beyond) that might evoke nice memories for you as well. But above all, the focus is on the joy of gameplay.<br />
<br />
To ensure this, I prioritized maintaining a scale and arrangement of objects that would allow for dynamic and smooth gameplay, making it enjoyable for everyone. Whether in 1-on-1 matches, team games, or classic FFA mayhem, the map is sure to provide lots of entertainment!<br />
<br />
Unlike my previous rat maps "reqbath" and "reqkitchen", the size of this map is smaller, with locations made more accessible for all players and bots. The challenge was to preserve the accurate dimensions of the interior, as well as the furniture and objects within it. I adopted a scale where 1 centimeter in real life equals three units in Radiant.<br />
<br />
Creating this map brought me immense joy and serves as my nostalgic return to mapping after 16 years. I hope you'll have just as much fun playing it alone or with friends. <img src="https://forums.xonotic.org/images/smilies/smile.png" alt="Smile" title="Smile" class="smilie smilie_1" /><br />

And it is quite fun.<br />
One side has the cell-powered weapons (except nex/sniper) and the other the rocket powered ones. A buff and some armor everytime you switch sides.<br />

The center platform is surrounded by 8 destrucible (and respawning) platforms. (highlighted with an electro ball)<br />

This is a port of the map "DM-Rankin" from Unreal Tournament 2004 to Xonotic.<br />
<br />
No conversion tools were used, but this port is based on another port of DM-Rankin for Unreal Tournament 1999: <a href="https://unrealarchive.org/unreal-tournament/maps/deathmatch/R/dm-rankin-v3_90c61ec4.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener" class="mycode_url">https://unrealarchive.org/unreal-tournam...61ec4.html</a><br />
The mapping was done with UnrealEd and NetRadiant running side by side, so the geometry is largely similar between the UT99 map and the resulting Xonotic map. However, the two maps aren't identical, as the Xonotic port is more complete and fixes certain inconsistencies. Some map details have also been made by taking screenshots in UT2004 then recreating the brushwork as best as possible. <br />
<br />
Of course, the map has been adapted to Xonotic's gameplay (dodge ramps have been replaced by ramp jumps, for example). The items distribution is mostly similar to that of the UT2004 map, but I replaced the 50 armor with a 100 Mega Health pickup.<br />

the waypoint problem was with enabling g_waypointeditor 1 before the map loading.<br />
and btw it is not inside of netRadiant, it is inside of Xonotic itself.<br />
and bots can't do the rocket jump at least something they do wrong there<br />
the problem with minimap - it doesn't read tga or jpg files, if it doesn't work - you need to set map size in .mapinfo<br />
the size can be obtained easy from .bsp file i guess why it's not? and there can be layers for map floors also - with you png/tga.<br />
for 8-16 players it needs more spawn places, that should be secondary for duel or 2v2<br />

<br />
Positron Reactor is a remake of Fractal Reactor (DM-Fractal) from Unreal Tournament "1999", with elements of DM-Morbias][ (the side rooms) and a few additions such as a third floor.<br />
It's also bigger to fit Xonotic's physics and has more weapons.<br />
It should be fun for up to 4 players in various game modes, hopefully also in duel and 2v2tdm (DM-Fractal was a duel map after all!).<br />
<br />
The central trap door opens when you shoot the arrow signs, teleporting players who fall into it to the energy beams at the top of the map.<br />

It's a <span style="text-decoration: underline;" class="mycode_u">vertical map</span> inprired by Judge Dreads city towers with tiny apartments.<br />
The district is <span style="text-decoration: underline;" class="mycode_u">endlessly stacked</span> with warpzones. So the chase never ends. There are many trickjumps, some highlighted with armor.<br />
It has 2 fully functional elevators that take around 4 sec to close, travel and open. (if the doors aren't blocked from closing)<br />
Both elevators got the mega pickups. <br />
There is a <span style="text-decoration: underline;" class="mycode_u">strength powerup</span> in the center, <span style="text-decoration: underline;" class="mycode_u">every weapon</span> and the seeker if you enable "g_new_toys"<br />
<br />
It also has many references to other maps using smaller details of them such as: Tuhma, Solarium, Silent Siege, Implosion, Go, Glowplant, Fuse, Final Rage, Erbium, Catharsis, Afterslime (Of mine: Cube, Modern Loo)<br />
There is a secret, which is disabled in duel and some other easter eggs.<br />

The map also replaces the jumppad sound with a better/softer one. <br />

-moved arc and crylink (they almost swapped positions)<br />

- fixed a texture issue and added more variety to the grafiti <br />

- fixed a small detail not being detail<br />
- improved performance slightly/made it more stable by hiding portals out of sight better<br />
- added native support via mapinfo for duel, invasion, freeze tag, key hunt and clan arena<br />

- refined more detail (mostly remade/retextured the crane-arm)<br />
- fixed wrongly caulked surfaces<br />

			<description><![CDATA[Hey, I was looking for some warpzone maps as I was curious to see what people had done with Warpzones in Xonotic.<br />
<br />
But the Xonotic Map Repo at <a href="https://xonotic.fps.gratis/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" class="mycode_url">https://xonotic.fps.gratis/</a> don't seem to have functional links for download so I couldn't get any of those listed there. And there were only a very limited amount anyway.<br />
<br />
So, I decided to go for the forums and see if there are anyone that can point me in the right direction.<br />

			<description><![CDATA[A map port from Quake Champions. Firstly made for project bloodrun.net for their Q3C. This is my adaptation for Xonotic. I made some brushwork, retexturing, also replaced items. The map is scaled by 1.25 to better fit Xonotic nuances. We are still testing it and getting feedback but it's already completely playable.<br />
