So I realized that I don't really know who is in charge of the different areas of this project and it might help those interested in development to know this. For instance, there's a couple music threads and people submitting their sonic ideas out there but besides just posting things for comment, there doesn't appear to be any goals (like "contest for menu music," etc) so it's just a bunch of threads of people posting songs. As a community driven project I would think voting and polls plays a major role but it might be helpful to have key person(s) directing content so that style stays uniform and/or the community knows what areas they need to develop in. Is there any kind of infrastructure like this in place?

Expanding on the idea of music submission.... it would be nice to see more of a FTP repository for "finished" songs being submitted for consideration. Example, I make a map and want to find a song to use with it... it would be more effective to have all the GPL content people have submitted in one place rather than digging though threads. Maybe broken down by intent folders... like 'maps songs' etc.... or by tempo.
I guess as soon as some music is agreed upon for inclusion it will be available in the git repositories like all other content.. IMHO xonotic is still in the "brainstorming" phase.. So keep the music coming Big Grin
