I would disagree slightly. This is called "I'd like to introduce myself". There is barely anything like that in the initial post and I really don't understand the purpose or the meaning of it - plus these kind of posts tend to attract only nonsense responses.
Considering 99% of the posts in this sub-forum only contains "Hi" I think this thread isn't particularly special or bad in some way.
Huh? Not really (just checked last 10 threads out of curiosity), but ok, I'll leave this thread's moderation to the hands of Mr. Bougo.
