I'm not too new to Xonotic, but I am to its forums. So...hi.
I'm fairly good at the game (so my friends must be terrible), I have a large interest in Doom/Megaman/ShovelKnight, and I've never made a single map in any game, if you exclude Mari0 (mario portal mix). How hard is it to make a decent map? I see quite a lot of them on the forums so it can't be that hard. And how do I go about doing that?
Eh, I forgot this isn't the help section. This is where you meet ME, the latest tumor in the forums! I love this game. Ever since I got my 'new' computer, the game looks better than it could ever on my brother's slim Dell Inspiron with an integrated graphics card. And I used an EVGA GT430 (which isn't new).
I'm very active in the computercraft forums, which is for a mod in Minecraft that allows players to program...programs in Lua. What I like about it is that you can do quite a lot, but the limitations it presents are realistic. Also, it boots you to a terminal with some basic unix commands. Yay linux!
...I'm a jokey person. I like jokes. Good jokes. Not anything you would find on the Disney Channel (hiss!). That's not to say I'll be cracking holocaust jokes every ten seconds; I try some moderation in that regard. Also, I appear to be the only person on the internet who makes an effort to use proper capitalization and spelling while taunting players I kill online. Damn you English class! (In fact, I was once mistaken for an adult while playing Plazma Burst 2, a really nice flash game, because I used proper grammar. That community...ick...)
