Instacup - Instagib Duel Tournament
Hello fellow instagibbers!

It's time to have another round of Instacup - the premier instagib dueling tournament hosted by Clan.exe.
Whether you consider yourself a duelist or not, there’s still a spot for you in this tournament. 
Having fun is the ultimate goal - don’t think it’s not worth joining if you don’t expect to win.
As there will likely be others at your skill level, you should have enjoyable experiences, and great matches by participating in the tournament.

As in the previous cup, the top performers will be rewarded with money prizes! 

Quick facts:

• 1v1 Duel (Insta/hook)
  
• Timelimit: 20 min, fraglimit: 30.
  
• Servers: will be set up later, you can practice on exe.pub servers (settings will the same as on InstaDuel/InstaDuel 2 servers).
  
• This is a two stage tournament. The first stage is a group-based round robin, top players from each group proceed to a double-elimination knockout stage.
  
• Group stage will be held on Apr 13-15, the knockout stage on Apr 21-22.
  
• Games start 19:00 CEST (20:00 MSK, 17:00 GMT) during each playing day. 
  
• IMPORTANT: The group seeding will be performed at 18:00-19:00 CEST on Apr 13th. You will need to be online on that time or in case you can't you should notify admins about your absence. Otherwise you won't be included in the bracket and won't be able to play.
  
• Prize pool: currently 80,00 EUR, donations are accepted and welcome (contact Mirio if you want to donate)
  
• Prize fund will be awarded for top 3 players in the knockout stage (subject to change, depends on number of donations)
  
• 1st: 45 EUR | 2nd: 25 EUR | 3rd: 10 EUR
  
• Group stage games are bo3, knockout stage games are bo3 except grand final (bo7), loser bracket final (bo5), winner bracket final and semifinals (also bo5)
  
• The preferred way of map selection and switching is by typing "/cointoss heads" or "/cointoss tails" in the in-game chat during warmup stage. Starting slash is mandatory.
  
• Vote for maps you like! Top 11 maps will be included in the pool.
  
• Map selection ordering is:
  

bo3: drop-drop-pick-pick-drop-drop-drop-drop-drop-drop-pick
bo5: drop-drop-pick-pick-drop-drop-pick-pick-drop-drop-pick
bo7: skip-pick-drop-drop-pick-pick-drop-drop-pick-pick-pick (player from the winner bracket has one map advantage).

The map poll is closed, the map pool is: 

xoylent, aerowalk, evilspace, farewell, finalrage, quark, ruiner, warfare, fuse, stormkeep, darkcity.

Darkcity and asylum got the same number of votes but only 1 spot is available in the pool for them. As asylum was already played in an instacup I decided that darkcity will be in this time. Gotta try new things. Sorry Kougi (

Congrats to 8 guys from Group A and Group B who successfully qualified from their groups.  We have 4 remaining games in Group C. They will start on 18:00 CEST today. 
Also it's possible that the playoff stage starts tonight too, at least few games. So be sure to come online tonight. Meeting point is #xonotic.cup channel as usual.
