Hello, im 27 years old and live in Germany. Originaly im coming from Bosnia but i moved for a job to Germany. I want to thank the developers of this game so much. This game is a shiny gem, it so amazing. It just throws me back to the old Unreal Torunament days. I wish this game would be more advertised so that more ppl play it, or maybe this game will be one day on Steam. My ingame name is Ruin so see ya in the arena.

You obviously dont get the point then, why the devs have a no advertising policy....they would like to keep the community idiot/retard/toddler - free
Not quite. The reason why there is no real advertising is simply that the product isn't finished yet and will still undergo some changes before 1.0 is released. It is also because advertising needs to actually be done in a quality way which would require the appropriate resources being available. I am pretty sure Xonotic team would welcome a well made, properly licensed trailer (video AND audio). I would encourage anyone to provide such a thing!

There is no intention behind the lack of advertising to protect the community from any sort of people. I am confident this community can deal with idiots all right. Toddlers should be subject to parental guidance. Retarded people are welcomed anyway and forum moderators will gladly take their time to explain anyone that uses the term "retarded" as some sort of diffamation why such usage is considered wrong.

IMO the steam situation should be reevaluated. The post on the site doesnt answer it appropriately anymore. The situation on steam has changed a lot.
Greenlight is not a thing anymore. Now, there some different things. Early access, Mod support, Standalone Mods, Free 2 Play games (also without monetization), and Linux Game Support (Steam OS).
It could be very useful to get more eyes on this project.
