Long time no post, forums.

Does anyone know of screen capturing software (preferable for ubuntu or linux in general) that would be suited for xonotic videos?

the SOURCE engine has a built in recording system where you input "record" (or something) into the console and it begins recording, does xonotic have something similar?
Of course Xonotic has something similiar Smile
if you want to record videos in Xonotic, i would suggest reading this:

and maybe this:

Thanks man.
You're welcome man.
Also, ffmpeg can do screen recording on Linux (w/ X11).

hellmind, if you need any help, find me on #xonotic or #menintux - I'd be happy to help you out.
Otherwise there is always GLC:

Why would you use that! Unless you want to capture the window borders or other parts of your OS, there's no point in not using the builtin video recorder, which works along with the engine to produce consistent framerate and quality.
Thanks for the help guys. And thanks for the offer Antibody.
