RE: Screenshots of what you're doing. - Mepper - 10-01-2011 Well, it abdolutely looks like wood. I have the feeling it misses something, dunno what But it looks nice! RE: Screenshots of what you're doing. - CuBe0wL - 10-01-2011 RE: Screenshots of what you're doing. - Maddin - 10-01-2011 @Mepper: (09-30-2011, 05:11 PM)Lord Canistra Wrote: Some bough spots won't hurt…That´s exactly what is missing. I only have to find out how to create them. @C. Brutail: Looks great! A tip: Don´t use patches for the arches, it will, as you can see, produce weird texture-alignment. RE: Screenshots of what you're doing. - CuBe0wL - 10-01-2011 Maddin: as most of the large detail stuff in Radiant, that should be only a placeholder, until somebody with the knowledge replaces them with models. (HINT FOR MODELLERS!) Also, I wanted it to make them pitch black, but some strange q3map2 bug just doesn't compile them. It simply skips those patches. Oh, and to get you all excited: RE: Screenshots of what you're doing. - Lord Canistra - 10-01-2011 Another good example of how you can't make real circles with patches. This idea with touch-sensitive floor looks great, but won't it flood the network channel of the server? RE: Screenshots of what you're doing. - [CCC]KINGSHOT[CCC] - 10-01-2011 I think it's no problem to create circles. That might happen. That's why I'd really like to finish this map, and find out just how much traffic this generates. RE: Screenshots of what you're doing. - Spaceman - 10-01-2011 Added some features to Freeze Tag RE: Screenshots of what you're doing. - Lee_Stricklin - 10-01-2011 Looking pretty cool guys, keep up the good work you are kicking ass right now. RE: Screenshots of what you're doing. - Morphed - 10-02-2011 too much color, it doesnt look like ice anymore RE: Screenshots of what you're doing. - Justin - 10-02-2011 C.Brutail: I saw the video on YT showing this map. I like the idea of touch-sensitive floor! Looks like a top of a building (modern style) Don't change the panels color to pitch black. (if I understand Your intentions correctly). The blue looks fine Impressive work! Spaceman: Nice but unnecessary. I like colors! RE: Screenshots of what you're doing. - CuBe0wL - 10-02-2011 No, I wanted to make the arcs black RE: Screenshots of what you're doing. - Maddin - 10-02-2011 "Bio Labour" is now ready for beta-testing and I already played some matches with bots. It was quiet challenging. I will present the map tomorrow. The next time I look at the code I will modify the ices brightness (and fix an annoying bug), then try to use './all' to push the code to the repo. RE: Screenshots of what you're doing. - CuBe0wL - 10-03-2011 RE: Screenshots of what you're doing. - Cortez666 - 10-11-2011 RE: Screenshots of what you're doing. - lda17h - 10-12-2011 Maddin: Looking forward to testing the map when I return from Istanbul : Cortez: Nice! I always liked that map for minsta. So don't worry about item placement too much ;D RE: Screenshots of what you're doing. - Justin - 10-12-2011 I'd rather see it as normal CTF mode not minsta only. So pls: Take care of the item placement. Its very important! It might be good remake, Cortez but pls: Leave items as they were on the previous version. It was rly good imo. it's just a suggestion RE: Screenshots of what you're doing. - Cortez666 - 10-12-2011 (10-12-2011, 03:58 AM)Justin Wrote: Leave items as they were on the previous version. It was never my intention to change that RE: Screenshots of what you're doing. - CuBe0wL - 10-13-2011 Mapping multy gametype support to 8-bit Arena: RE: Screenshots of what you're doing. - Sless - 10-14-2011 Red base, green color. I like it. Quite irritating, but REALLY nice. Think first, then run. Naiss. And over all. IT R TRON DRESTOYERS AS DOORS / PORTALS. RE: Screenshots of what you're doing. - CuBe0wL - 10-14-2011 That's not the red base, that's the neutral zone. Technical difficulty, I need to place an entity in every new "room" I created, to get it rendered. The red flag is only there, because that was the first entity I grabbed RE: Screenshots of what you're doing. - Sless - 10-14-2011 Oh, right - the entity, rendering thingy. Read that before. But i have to admit, a colorchange in a map (for each base) would be a nice idea. Probably the red base blue, the blu base red colored. *hm* P.s.: The Tron-destroyers look remarkably austom^2 RE: Screenshots of what you're doing. - Black-Dragon131 - 10-14-2011 (10-01-2011, 02:59 PM)Spaceman Wrote: Added some features to Freeze Tag I had the same idea some time ago [Image] RE: Screenshots of what you're doing. - HKN - 10-20-2011 Im modeling some mapmodels This is the first of them: It can be used as a portal/teleport too |
