Im not sure about new one. What about removing or washing out a bit this orange background the Phoenix is on? Well, the point is that it stands out as a badge, so we can use it as an identifier in icons and confined spaces where the full logo would be too much or simply not fit. I'll create a version with a lighter background and upload it shortly, but I think that takes away the essence and purpose of the changes/update. The current logo is great, but it doesn't stand well as an icon/badge IMHO. It simply doesn't stand out enough amongst the other icons on the desktop... Okay, here we go; two "washed out" takes: ...and a third with a transparent blend: Actually, 80% looks kinda neat... Can someone please provide me with a raster image of the logo without the center 'O', so I can try this on a clean surface? RE: Logo Refinement, Addressing Technical Issues, Inspiring Others - Mr. Bougo - 10-02-2012 Attached 300dpi rasters of different layers in png. You'll have to supply the black background Have fun! EDIT: That's 6827x3413 in resolution. You should learn to use Inkscape! You'll have to supply the black background Thanks mate. If Inkscape had a proper native binary for Mac, trust me I would. RE: Logo Refinement, Addressing Technical Issues, Inspiring Others - bokiseles - 10-03-2012 Okay, here we go, guys -- for your reviewing pleasure. Small and large versions at 70% transparency on the background. *sips lemonade and stares blankly at the screen* I'm gonna go and do some coding now... Cheers. xonotic-s.png (Size: 93.96 KB / Downloads: 70) xonotic-l.png (Size: 97.48 KB / Downloads: 68) Disclaimer: All yours for dissecting, whichever way you like.
