Setting up a map from an archive? - phim - 09-22-2010 Title says most of it. I see .pk3 files everywhere for maps, but I don't know where to put the contents in the xonotic folder. Edit: Oh, and thanks for your help in advance. RE: Setting up a map from an archive? - Mr. Bougo - 09-23-2010 You don't have to extract the file! Just put it in .xonotic/data in your home directory in Linux or Mac, or in My Documents\My Games\xonotic\data in Windows, and restart the game. RE: Setting up a map from an archive? - phim - 09-23-2010 Thanks! I got maps working now. It took me awhile to notice that you set up games in the multi player section rather than the single player. RE: Setting up a map from an archive? - Mr. Bougo - 09-24-2010 You can also use the chmap command in the console, that's a more direct way to test a map (hint: chmap supports tab autocompletion) RE: Setting up a map from an archive? - darthrevan - 02-04-2011 May I ask a question here, too? I copied map dinirun3 from dlcache, I can create game with it, but i cant move past start point O_O I bump into air and stop. How do I fix this? |
