Setting up a map from an archive?

#1
Title says most of it. I see .pk3 files everywhere for maps, but I don't know where to put the contents in the xonotic folder.

Edit: Oh, and thanks for your help in advance.

You don't have to extract the file! Just put it in .xonotic/data in your home directory in Linux or Mac, or in My Documents\My Games\xonotic\data in Windows, and restart the game.

Thanks! I got maps working now. It took me awhile to notice that you set up games in the multi player section rather than the single player.

You can also use the chmap command in the console, that's a more direct way to test a map Smile
(hint: chmap supports tab autocompletion)
