Old UT99 (THE ONLY AND THE ONE) player
joined some games today and had my ass kicked, still need to know the most played arenas, tricks and the weapons (is the Hagar, the grenade machinegun, underpowered? it doesn't seem to do a lot of dmg) etc etc
So, glad I found this

I've only recently installed the Unreal games (UT99, UT2004 and UT3) and Quake games (mostly Quake 3 and now 4).
Being a teenager now means that I've got a lot of catching up to do with old games, hehe.
Better late than never I suppose.

@rocknroll: I suggest to not even play 2003+ in UT, go with classic UT99 and you're done, but it's personal tastes I suppose

Most played duel: stormkeep, hub, final rage, fuse, silent siege, ztn, downer
Most played tdm: atelier, deep inside, silent siege, stormkeep, opium, breath
Most played ca: farewell, q2warehouse, afterslime
Most played ctf: catharsis, runningman, moonstone, apace, attic, hydroxon
Hopefully you're all set up (keybinds, models, etc) if not poke me in the chan

Hi and welcome. Hagar is not underpowered, it can be devastating in dm. Also its secondary fire (releasing four rockets) is often a one shot kill if you apply it right. Use it wisely though, the splash of the hagar is evil!
It also is a weapon to use if you have a lousy aim (I like it)

I just have a doubt: when in voting/selecting map, only 4-5 maps compare (sometimes 7): what to do?

on servers that aren't votable, those are the only maps you can pick - come in IRC for a better explanation of voting, etc.

hagar is dmg is normal, but my <3 mortar underpowered for sure :<And ofc welcome mate, as you probably noticed everyone here glad to help new guys, so don't hesitate ask all your questions here or in irc

Finko: I was wondering, because on UT I remember every weapon being lethal: even the BioShock could kill a full armored enemy, the Impact Hammer, etc etc
These weapons are great and have cool concept (the rockets pwn!) I just need to get used to these
