Applying video settings crash on Arch - cyrus_the_virus - 02-09-2025

Hi all,

while using Arch, I just can´t update the video settings. I get this error message on the linux console:

Video Mode: window 1920x1080x32x0.00hz
X Error of failed request:  BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)
Major opcode of failed request:  146 ()
Minor opcode of failed request:  5
  Value in failed request:  0x1400052
Serial number of failed request:  408
Current serial number in output stream:  408

Any ideas?
Many thanks in advance, greetings!

Cisco

Use the SDL build instead of the GLX one (which is deprecated and not included in current builds).

I believe it was due to Wayland. I moved to Xorg and works perfectly, even more fps. Last updates wreck Wayland for me :/
