Today I was bored, so I learned blender and decided to model a crate. There is supposed to be some weird blue material inside, and I need someone to export it to a xonotic-friendly format.

Screeeeenshooooots? Big Grin
Anyway you could export into many formats, md3 is probably best for a static model tho.
No, it's obj, since Blender can export to OBJ natively from 2.5

Also, can someone write a md3 export script for B2.5? Or does it already exist?

Now in obj format!!

NOTE:It will emit a bit more light when rendered.
i like it when forum thread contents deliver exactly what the forum thread titles promise.

Can i request a nice alpha-blended PNG of the crate? For avatars and scientific research purposes.

I'll have It tomorrow, for I have to sleep soon.
So, Is the crate nice?
i didn't look at the model in Blender and the preview is a bit small, but, yes i think it looks nice. Smile

Looks fine in Blender, however, you've got to UV-unwrap. And some other stuff.
I think I've done UV unwrapping (I just pressed the unwrap button), so what else should I do?
Texture it. :p
Could you or someone else texture it?
PNG. For scientific purposes.
