After listening to Vildhjarta's album "Måsstaden"(means seagull city in english) solely for probably a month now I've started looking for other great bands.

Here's some great I found:







They're all metalcore/progmetal'ish

hmm will listen to the links but having some doubts. feedback coming in tha weekend. masstaden was my fav album of 2011 though so not much is going to touch.

The ones I listed aren't quality bands like Vildhjarta, but they're heavy.

Didn't mean to be mean sorry.

I didn't think any of those tracks were in any way good, original, progressive. My opinion I'm afraid. Slice the Cake has a new track Siren's Song coming out on Myriad records you might like to know.

Oh a liked the Bonobo track Mr Bougo. I hadn't heard that one before.

Oh, maybe someone can help me: I'm trying to figure out what's that melody at 1:40 (guitar takes on that melody at some more sections in the song). It sounds vaguely familiar... Anyway, here's a MIDI file with that melody, which might help: http://ompldr.org/vZ3QwbQ (I already tried those music search engines like Musipedia, but without any luck yet.)

I've had this stuck in my head for the past two days... It's awesome.
