I want to use the same ~/.xonotic/ dir for another server.

However start up gives:
Quake Error: session lock /home/xonotic/.xonotic/lock could not be acquired. Please run with -sessionid and an unique session name.

Where can I change the name or location of the lock file in the server.cfg (or on the command line)?

The session id thing is used to separate databases. You don't want two servers to share the speed record database because QC databases are kind of rudimentary.

Ahh! The answer was in the error message.
