Can somebody help me to set up game like in this video?
Absolution - Xonotic frag moovie by kojn
I don't know about pink nex beams, fiddling with those would probably end up editing the effectsinfo file and would be considered cheating. But for the rest, check out http://www.xonotic.org/2013/09/halogenes...erception/ .
You could also send a PM to kojn, maybe he shares his config. He's called kojjn on the forums IIRC.

Note that the "edge effect" was added later during video editing, and can't be reproduced ingame. (Which is unfortunate, I would love to have something like that in Xonotic!)

Quick addendum: MrBougo pointed out a more or less similar effect which can be enabled ingame, see http://forums.xonotic.org/showthread.php?tid=4201 (the effect is also used if you pick up strength and have postprocessing enabled). I played around a bit with the settings, here's how it looks:

Commands used:
Code:
gl_picmip_world 1337
vid_restart
hud_postprocessing 0
r_glsl_postprocess 1
r_glsl_postprocess_uservec1_enable 0
r_glsl_postprocess_uservec2_enable 1
r_glsl_postprocess_uservec2 "1 -5 0 0"
Hi Andrii

Didnt see this thread before.

I will set up a thread either tonight or tomorrow night on how to achieve the effect, along with how to set the config up.
Seems a few people have been interested in this and the simpleitems pk3 which I still have (thanks to Machine for this).

Whoever posted the screenshot has indeed came close, would look similar with the config settings I used I think Smile

The effect has been achieved by post processing effects in premiere pro, but can be done almost the same as shown in the screenshot in this thread.

I'm interested in this as well, for the screenshot I basically used some settings MrBougo mentioned in some other thread Smile
I'll explain how I achieved the look via a video, will make it tonight with Camtasia hopefully then upload it.

Had similar questions asked about simple items and motionblur so I can show that also.

Looking forward to seeing that!
Dammit,

Camtasia doesn't pick up Xonotic when it is fullscreen at least..annoying!

Just wasted 20 minutes doing a video!

Will see if I can work around this.
