When entering a character in the multiplayer server address bar at the bottom, the UI hangs for ~10 seconds until the character appears.
In xonotic-sdl, the music continues, while in xonotic-glx the music will freeze for those few seconds as well.
Other text fields like the filter at the top work fine.
I'm not sure how to troubleshoot this, the shift-esc console shows nothing unusual.
It happens on both my test machines.
System 1:
openSUSE Tumbleweed 20171122
xonotic 0.8.2-2.1 (official distro package)
Thinkpad X220 with Intel HD Graphics 3000
System 2:
Ubuntu 17.10
xonotic 0.8.2 (binary from xonotic.org)
Intel HD Graphics 530
