Some sounds that I took from some games
WEAPONS SOUNDS FROM: Alien Shooter 2: The Legends (mostly),painkiller,Serious Sam and SE, Quake 2, Arena and 4,DUSK, Unreal Tournament and Wolfenstein 2009 (+Doom3 sound and old xonotic sounds)

(Almost) All weapons have been changed. (And misc too + supports mario's and jeff's weapon sounds too)
The soundpack has to be in .xonotic/data
Other versions (Versions v2 and v4 aren't avaliable): pre-release,first release,v11(bottom), more bottom v5, v3, v6-v9 , v10
The latest version is v12 [FINAL]

.mp3 sounds do not work in this game, but .ogg should. The likely reason for it failing is execution order; the xonotic-data package has a lower alphabetical name than sounds.pk3, so the stock sounds are preferred. Most server packages work around this by naming their package zzz-myfile.pk3.
It would also be worth adding a version number to the pk3 incase you intend to make further revisions, and since this is a local replacement, you could go for a file name like this:
zzzz-kota-sounds_v1.pk3

it would be great to add support for .mp3 format, but now .ogg works

I like some of them, especially Laser's one. But there is a trouble with "grenade_fire.wav", its sound is overloaded. Take a look on the screenshot and compare your version with default one:

This is old version, try v6-v9

Edited post, now you can dowload latest version 10 and found old v5. So, if some suggestions contact me!

I had edited the post, there are new weapon sounds for such mods like MarioSMB and Jeff's mode now + there are new sounds for "vanilla" xonotic now!

The changes are: removed some bad sounds from "misc/", fixed 1 sound (mine_stick).
