questions on destructible objects

sorry to attack with another question so quickly....

I figured out how to make a destructible object with func_destructable
I also found the functions for making debris and a replacement object after the first one is destroyed...

however... I cant figure out how to link one object to replace the destroyrd one... I also cat figure out how to make the debris anything but a weird colored diamond...

can anyone help here?
