Xonotic Battle Royale?

I did this ih DarkPlaces drawing wit R_BeginPolygon in 3d space on client.  Perhaps Xonotic should consider a Battle Royale mode.

4 years ago I tried solving it with mapdesign. I made a 5x5 grid map where one random tile at a time would disappear.
It also came with random loot.

I've played and looks pretty done. I suppose it should be added officially.

If there is a Battle Royale mode available on a server out there, I'd like to play it.

Extra info:  No I am not interested in making my own server, I code sure but I'm as lazy as any schlub out there and would just want to connect to a server and play a game.

If Xonotic has this mode, it should fast track it and get it on servers ASAP ( stands for ASA *PENIS*).  I would play that.  Possibly more than I should.)

Not sure if this gamemode could be considered official for Xonotic. 
It seems still the author maintains the source code and the server. You can contribute as you wish in his development too.

You seem to very actively like the Q3 style gameplay, I am working on a more single player/coop focused side of DarkPlaces at https://www.moddb.com/mods/zircon-engine

I am only pointing this out because you've repeated posted about engine disappointment stuff.

I don't disagree, in the broad sense.

And while what I am working on at the moment might not interest you much since it is not very player vs player oriented, what I can say is that in a couple of months I hope to start aggressively attaacking performance weaknesses in DarkPlaces.

Spike has done a hell of job with FTEQW and FTEQCC, Spike was one of the main people who helped me learn engine coding when I was new at it and really, without his help, I doubt I'd be 25% the coder I am today.
