My opinions of Xonotic.

I doubt I have enough legitimity to do this.
But here is not the question: nobody seems to subscribe to the mediator idea...
I'm still firmly convinced that a lot of (hot) threads are largely fruitless due to anarchic discussions.
The fact that Crrazzy's proposals didn't receive any satisfying answer is just an other illustration of a mediator need.

but then, you cannot blame the reader who didn't read all threads of the forum.
To overcome this, answers of hot topics should be gathered in a read-only thread by the dev team.
It's what I humbly tried to do with the Trends thread. But I feel that noone won't ever post in there...

A mediator could then redirect posters towards these read-only threads.

But his role would not be limited to this: keep everybody focused on one idea by avoiding disgressions is also crucial.

This is probably something to set up for the beta then, a BETA feedback thread rather then try set up one thread now.
