[SOLVED] 85 char limit when posting

I tried to post to tournoment discussipn and got this e
message preventing me from poating:

Please correct the following errors before continuing:

The subject is too long. Please enter a subject shorter than 85 characters (currently 89).

Is it supposed to be like that? =o

Did not even know about this limit and find this subject for posts unnecessary anyway.

The forum software is dumb. When you reply to a thread, "Re: " is prepended to the thread title to make the default reply title. If the thread title happens to be 82 or more characters, the default post title goes over 85 and can't be posted.

Change the post title and ask the thread owner to shave a few characters off the thread title.
