(I'll post the screens later on)

Until now i noticed something here... ATI-based cards tend to have strange FPS drops on a certain part of the timedemo (main room shooting with the hagar and final part when killing up-close with the crylik)...
(For some reason i couldn't resize config3's screenshots...)

What is the console command to fetch the fps information?

I know for Source engine games it's "cl_showfps 3" I have no idea what it is for this engine though...

I'll try and add my benchmark of my own, I have a very similar setup to the first laptop except my graphic's card is about 100$ cheaper.

I'm assuming on 64bit capable machines you used the 64bit binary but did you use the sdl executable or the non-sdl executable? (and does it matter?)

Under the Demos menu, there is a Timedemo button next to the Play button. So, select the demo, hit Timedemo, it will play though the demo and display the total frames, total time in seconds, and min/avg/max FPS.

On 64-bit OSs i used the normal 64bit executable.
If you run some tests of your own i will add them as well to the first post Smile

i would like to see some tests on some really crappy machines , say minimum 256 graphix card,
single core , 1 gig ram.

then after test , the things that could be done to tweek the shit out of it to raise performance

btw thats roughly my specs :p (i has 1.2 gig of ram)

could be good for people who are on a budget and would like to still play the new game.

ill have to get around to giving my specs and nerd tweeks , but yer , i run the game , it runs fine , so people who think they cant can maybe re-try , or improve their nerd machines.

I'll try to bench some of my machines with xonotic soon. However, I would like to see a shorter benchmark demo included with xonotic. The current one just takes WAY too long to run on some slower machines (takes a while on fast machines too).
