8bits are enough for me

During the weekend I've been at my parents', and I've returned home with this little brilliant piece of old hardware. It kept me awake for nights when I was a little kid, and it pushed me on the steps of computer geekness.

And it's still a lot of fun, even after 20 years since we've first met Smile

Guys and gals, let me introduce to you one of my oldest friends:

My good'ol Commodore 64C Big Grin

Before my time or not the Commodore 64 is a damn fine piece of history. I actually have one sitting behind me hooked up to a 13 inch CRT right now and I got a handful of classics for it including: Sim City (original), Red Storm Rising (The first Tom Clancy game), TV Sports Football (one of the very first sports games to have a huge focus on presentation), Test Drive (original), Wolfenstein (the game that inspired Wolfenstein 3d), Skate or Die (not as good as the NES version thanks to load times, but still very enjoyable), Pirates!, and quite a few others.
