Morphed released his great models for the relics last night. I integrated them with the relics code today and added according symbols for each relic. I could say this feature is ready now.
Short description of what relics are: They randomly spawn around the map. Players can pickup and carry one relic at a time. Each grants them a special ability (no curse). When they die, they drop the relic they were carrying. This is meant to replace runematch, and fairly similar to it in some aspects (though a mutator, not gametype).
