Favorite cutscenes and in-game moments

This a thread for posting awesome moments from any videogame. I'll start with the Dollet landing from the DEMO version of Final Fantasy 8. It's a shame the music track played in this version didn't end up in the final game.

It would spoil (almost) the whole game so i won't put it here though you can find the scene on youtube (with some comments).

Better get yourself the whole game (works in wine) and play it. The said scene is at the end of the fourth episode. It's better to know the characters anyway.

It's sufficient to say that The Only Villain I Wanted To Defeat is not Sephiroth, it's this [spoiler] who plotted [spoiler]. Sadly you don't get a chance. T_T

Unreal: Mission Pack - Return to NaPali

I think that music is something that made this game want me today to play it all over again. The ambience is so amazing!

Too bad Unreal 2 wasn't as good as it should have been. Come to think of it, the last really good game that had Unreal in the title was Unreal Tournament (99/GotYE), the rest of them never really had quite the impact the first two titles did and UT2k4 only got highly rated because it was released at a time when PC gaming didn't have much going on.

There was one time I was playing Tribes where I had a sweet air to air shot. I hit one guy with the blue disc launcher, and he bounced into a guy flying next to him who bounced into a guy flying next to him all three of whom got run over by one of my teammates in the transport vehicle.

I got a laser only kill from the lowest platform on go, shot someone on the other low platform across the map.

Thought this CG intro for Silent Line was amazing, that music track they played on it was used a few times in game as well and really made you feel like you were in a desperate battle.

I like the intro to the GameCube remake of Resident Evil 1.

1. day of the tentacle - after installing my very first soundcard and hearing HUNAMVOICES coming from my pc
to put in synthestic emotions: i felt like a knot in my throat got opened by static brownies.... or something like that

2. forsaken - OMG OMG OMG i just got a voodoo 2 ! muahahah! i think my eyes started bleeding from the beauty

3. quake 3 arena - HOLY ITS THE GEFORCE 256, now my eyes exploded, and i got owned.

4. drakan - yeah, drakan, its ok BUT: HERE IT COMES: viewed with the elsa(nvidia) shutterglasses - whoa, i can almost feel the 3d touching my face.

5. super mario 64 - got 120stars and to yoshi only to get a FUCKING two liner. but it was worth it

No shit? I aint played that since me and one of my childhood friends held N64 and PS1 deathmatches back in the day.

While I'm at it I might as well say that this trailer blew me away. Square Enix definitely has the right idea for CG on this game.
