new way to aim in xonotic???????!!!?????

could we use this in xonotic?

I see no reason it would be possible in nexuiz and not in xonotic.

But as cool as it may seem, I'm pretty sure it's rather unusable and uncofmortable compared to mouse+keyboard.

The only problem is that stuff stuff got never published by the author.

I guess you could contact him...

I don't think you can count on experimental control device support coming from official development, that's way too much work and nobody ever uses this.
The game is free software though, so it makes it attractive to anyone who wishes to implement such new controls. I think somebody used Nexuiz in their computer engineering thesis at one point...

Er yeah, I'm not questioning that, I'm just saying it would be useless, unused, complicated to implement and it would get in the way of much more important developments. That's why you shouldn't count on this coming from the Xonotic developers.

Also, why do the work twice? Try asking the guy for the source. If he is ever going to release this to the public, he has to provide source code too.

yes wasd is the default to every shooter game, but anyways you have to have a good webcam or else your might not get anything good out of camspace

update: i tried nexuiz with camspace and it worked, takes a little getting used to but it works
