Actually, yoda is still in the code, yoda.ogg exists (it's the "amazing" sound, link), and it's triggered in minsta if you hit someone while they are in mid-air. It's also triggered in any gamemode if you hit somebody with the minstanex weapon while both you and the target are in mid-air. That's a very fringe case, considering that the minstanex outside of minsta is a special weapon that only lasts 30 seconds or so.

EDIT: Oops, I forgot about other code paths. The above still applies, but there's more yoda with ballistic bullet weapons.
