Why not? Really good games have always attracted different people of all age groups and backgrounds. Hell I've heard of kids as young as the age of three getting heavy into Quake 3 and Halo (actually a kid with the tag lil poison was making a killing in Halo when he was that young competing in tournaments when he was four and becoming professional when he was six). I also know from past clan and forum activity that Unreal Tournament has seen boys and girls as young as seven years and men and women as old as like sixty or seventy. I myself remember begging for quarters from my mother and standing on some milk crates to throw down in games such as Mortal Kombat and Samurai Showdown before I was five years old.
