What's the purpose of this thread?

To praise SDL developers for resisting the Global Government's malicious influence!

And you think that by using this same, can't-quite-believe-it's-sarcastic-but-it-is tone that this helps get it across? SDL 2.0 is released. What you might think about conspiracies is your own problem.

It must be some sort of inside joke from the outside.

So, the SDL authors have had or have some cooperation with NSA? I don't really get it...

This does of course not mean it is an easy job and before anyone jumps on the band wagon of wanting Xonotic ported, someone needs to do the work. ;-)
