[SOLVED] how do i set up netradiant

so i built netradiant, with the help of this forum, but i have trouble setting it up. it doesn't load textures, instead it says stuff like "shader not found" or other checkered texture stuff.
it asked me once the engine directory so i set one (which was definetly wrong), and it stoped asking. How do i go back and set the correct directories?
If it helps, i use debian 9.
it also says error stuff:

vfs directory not found: /home/user/xonotic/darkplaces/data/

I already know lots of things are wrong, thanks in advance.

You can change the engine path in "Edit"->"Preferences"->"Settings"->"Paths"

thanks, i already do have the mapping support in my userdata, could you tell me what dirs to set?
EDIT: nevermind, sorry, i somehow found out, all's working now
