I was away for a time being, busy making noise in my bedroom. It's good to be back here
I'm gonna release an album of electronic stuff. I have 5 tracks ready for mastering (I belive) and 4 more to finish. Some more will propably arrive out of nowhere in between. I'm gonna post a link ASA it's finished (I'm gonna release the album as widely as I can using the internet), if you'd like to have some tracks in Xonotic, I'll loop them and give sources. Hopefull some stuff will suit your taste
Wee! making music if FUN!

That definitely sounds like it would be suited for a tutorial or a CTS (or somewhere in the game where not much chaos exists) map. Getting used in-game or not, it's going on my MP3 player.

Hello, wonderful musicians! I love the music in Xonotic so far, but sometimes I feel that the current music style may actually be too slow to fit the fast-paced gameplay. Sometimes I wish we could bring back "Calling Bogus" or "Brokenlight", as those were my favorites and really seemed to give people (IMHO) a good adrenaline rush.
To expand on that, I feel that the current opening menu theme, while badass in on its own, may be a tad too slow. I miss Brokenlight's "BAM! SHARP VIOLIN INTRO & GO INTO AWESOME ELECTRIC GUITAR!" attitude; its *ahem* Quake-like style *cough*, where everything is strong, fast, and makes your heart pound. The only downside is that now that Xonotic has a definite "space" theme, songs like these may no longer fit with the game's slightly calmer "spacey electronica" mood...
What do you guys think about it? Please, give me your calm, honest opinions. I love these forums very, very much, and I would hate to see another thread being hijacked and turned into a flamefest...

Another one? Surely I must be joking?
No, not at all. This one's still in making, but I'd like your comments on it.

Uh I'm not sure if I'm breaking any rules by posting this music here, but here's a song I made a while back. It's my first song, actually, but I just wanted to share it here and let the Xonotic team do whatever they want with it. Not expecting it to be used, but if I add to the options for you guys, I feel like I've at least done something to contribute.

Well, I'd say you need to learn a lot more to do this right
Keep trying, doing, listening, experimenting. When I was starting up I was doing even worse tracks
It takes some years to be any good at making this. At least in my case it took 4~5 years.

Check this tune, I think I'm squeezing some flow out of it, so maybe you'd want to have it as a background for some run'n'gun action.

You so need to put a limiter on the master track in the mixer. Otherwise good concept.
