In 2010, started playing QL for a couple months; too young for CoD/BF (boring as fcuk), and too old to get really involved in QL as it was already dying

Not new to Xonotic but have not played since 0.5 since I am ever so slightly involved with another project ^^
That and my old computer's gfx card flipped me the bird whenever it saw xon's golden eagle (No idea why; must be the accursed Mac's fault)

So here i am now online w/new account, $800 poorer but ready to duel yo ass (i'll get back to you on that)

Oh yes I have a couple questions:

1) Why can't I get past level #21 (Runematch on DM6)? it loads DM6, but it is DM mode, and no bots are present.

2) How can I get picmip to exclude the gunmodel so I dont get that fugly purple/brown/blue blob?

3) Where the heck are all the American servers :S

I might try my hand at mapping, have some ideas, but I don't know how that will go as Cube 2's editor spoiled me to death

1) Level 21 is bugged in Xonotic 0.6. You can skip it by typing the following in the game console (open it with shift escape): g_campaignxonoticbeta_index 21

2) I think you can disable picmip then set gl_picmip_world to a high value (people usually set it to 1337, everything above 16 is the same anyway). Do that in the game console like in the first answer.

3) Do you mean US servers, Canadian, central? Have you tried sorting by ping? There are some US servers, that's all I know.

Hi Mr Bougo. I have seen it. Tried it, but just like your other thread I still get the unknown command error. Can you guide me step by step maybe I am doing something wrong?

It worked. And yes the last one read
g_campaignxonoticbeta_index is "20" ["20"]

I went on to try it again and this time it worked, not really sure what was wrong. Thank you all the same. There after it became
