Controlling bones in CSQC to get the arms to move with the weapon. Still needs a lot more tweaking but you get the idea.

It is already, in the fruitiex/newpanelhud branch Wink


cd xonotic/data/xonotic-data.pk3dir && git checkout fruitiex/newpanelhud
cd ../../ && ./all compile

Then in the game, exec the different hud_*.cfg files for examples. Design your own too with the "hud_configure" command, export with hud_save Wink. Check out the hud_* cvars to see more info, also you can create your own skins by placing the stuff in data/gfx/hud/yourskin (see the other folders in that dir for examples). If you make your own, better post it as pk3 on the forum here. Best one will be default in Xonotic Wink

thanks a lot, but why isn't it available in master? if I switch to ur branch I lose Ignis player model ( in "diabolik" branch ) and air control in master branch.

If its not in master it means its not completed or contains bugs or div0 hasn't had the time to check it over and merge(which takes time).

Feel free to merge them locally though:

checkout panelhud branch: git checkout fruitiex/newpanelhud
create a new branch: git checkout -b mybranch
merge with master: git merge master
merge any other branches: git merge branchname

You'll now have a local branch called mybranch where all these other branches are merged together (if it worked)

It didn't work with the newpanelhud branch, but I could merge gakplayermodel with master.

This looks pretty awesome. Is this an early version of umbra/badly scaled weapons? Why does it look like it's not gripping the weapons?
