Why is it on these forums. Non-game related topics get ridiculous amounts of activity, yet when it actually comes to the development/game it is seriously lacking in comparison?

Can someone answer me that, pretty bloody annoying!

Most people lingering on the forums can't really add much to development related discussion since they are no developers - and the developers tend to spend their spare time developing rather than monitoring community gossip (which is perfectly fine) :o)

So making suggestions on the forum is pretty much pointless and if you have an idea you should open a ticket at the dev tracker instead?

Developers post here from time to time, some all of the time. I don't see how Halogene implies that developers explicitly ignore the forums, all devs might not use it a lot but some do and if they find something noteworthy nothing stops them from showing it to the other devs.
