Would like to join a clan and set up a clan server for free...

Hello, I would like to join a clan that is interested in getting a dedicated server for their use. Its a located in a datacenter here is California and should give very good latency. To this server and my home client I see like 35ms times. If you are interested just go to https://fps.gameplayer.club/HostSplash and choose the "basic" server option and then enter "offline" for payment method so you won't be charged. My reaction times are not up to competing but I can offer my hosting and community servers to my new clan

Is there a reason why you're so interested in getting people to use your dedicated servers? What's in it for you? Also, someone else already took issue with your latency claims, but it bears reiterating: you can't make claims about latency unless you control both ends and everything in between. It's highly unlikely that you do.

I'm just lonely and disabled and would like to support what I see as a good project. I will remove the latency claims or change to to "as low as 30ms" rather than guaranteeing that. Would that be better? I have also updated my signature so it doesn't seem so spammy. If people would like a server I am still interested in giving one away...

I for one, would like to cut my monthly server bills while still supporting the Xonotic community. What's the hardware spec of your server (CPUs, memory, disks, bandwidth)? Do you plan to provide the servers for, say, at least 5 years?

Actually, why don't you just setup a server? A server with good pings, interesting maps, and updated code (git) will attract players. That alone is a great contribution to the community.

You're welcome :he hardware specs basically are 2gb RAM, 50gbSSD, 1 core, and I can't remember the network traffic info. You can see the full specs at https://fps.gameplayer.club/HostSplash. I am out of servers for this month but will be able to offer one next month, most likely. And yes the servers would be free for life, as long as they were actively being used.
I do have a server - look in the list for "GamePlayer Club". I also just set up a server for my new clan at https://battlegrrls.gameplayer.club. Working on adding maps to it right now but you can see it by looking for "BattleGrrls" in the list...
