Hi all, first let me say hi, I'm relatively new to Nexuiz (and of course Xonotic) but interested in contributing. I'm an OS X user and while I'm not terribly familiar with OS X development (yet), I do have experience in porting software to various Unix flavors.
There are two issues I've come across on OS X, both Darkplaces issues. I'm not sure if this is the right forum or not but I thought I'd ask if anyone can offer insights or point me in the right direction...
The first issue is that there appears to be a problem loading the libvorbis dynamic library on OS X - therefore there's no sound. It's seems like it'll be easy enough to fix once I figure out how OS X does linking and whatnot but for now it's annoying .
The other problem is a bit more serious. The non-SDL darkplaces client on OS X 10.6 fails to build on 10.6, due to the use of the 32-bit Carbon libs on the 64-bit 10.6. This is a little beyond my expertise at the moment.
So, anyone have ideas... or should I take this over to the AT forums?
