[NEED HELP] Server configuration for flatpak not loading

Hello everyone. I created the file server.cfg in ~/.var/app/org.xonotic.Xonotic/.xonotic/data/ so I could add/change some settings, but none of them seem to be working.

I tried moving it to several related directories, but none worked. I launched the game from the command line and found that it was execing a file called xonotic-server.cfg that I couldn't find anywhere on my system. Changing the filename of my configuration file to xonotic-server.cfg and putting it in the original location seemed to enable every possible option, resulting in me somehow immediately dying every time I started a new game or tried to respawn. The flatpak's permissions are at the default settings.

I have no idea what to do here, but I'm hoping somebody can point me in the right direction.

You need a ~/.var/app/org.xonotic.Xonotic/.xonotic/data/server.cfg file, optionally you can have autoexec.cfg there too. xonotic-server.cfg is part of the game (it's in a pk3 archive wherever flatpak installs stuff on your OS), files that are part of the game shouldn't exist in ~/.var/app/org.xonotic.Xonotic/.xonotic/data/ as that will cause problems. At a minimum your server.cfg or autoexec.cfg should contain a line hostname "my new server", you can check it worked after startup with the status 1 command.

I put the file in the right place and gave it the right name, but the custom set hostname isn't showing up anywhere for me. I looked in the console and it's just the generic Username's Xonotic Server.
