[DUEL, CTS] tempullit

What he made: design; those 3 rooms;
Who finished this: Kotangens(me)
What I made: connected 3 rooms into 1 room; made a little garden outside, added items, jumpads, waypoints for bots, some little design, light(AriosJentu made light, but his light wasn't saved, so, I remade).
Map name: tempullit  (Albanian language ---> temple) (fun fact: I found this name using Google translate)
Gametypes: Deathmatch, duel, team deathmatch, clan arena, freeze tag, last man standing, key hunt, keep away, race, Complete This Stage (race CTS).

AriosJentu made two rooms, I connected them into one and this room is connected to the main room(you probably see it). Before this room hadn't pink lava, jumpads, items and something on the top of the map.

The portal had another model(that model was ugly and too simple, I replaced that model to the model you see in screenshot)

Where the big black dot is, there was a teleporter, it was removed (the same ugly and simple teleporter)

I think it's pretty good extending of my a little bit testing polygon for a creating a good one map. Not so perfect, as I imagine this in first time, but also awesome. Some ideas here's looking absolutely awesome. But one of the problem I found here is a open-space green zone. It's not the best choice to do it like this. Of course, green places, or something with nature on the map is one of the best implementations, but for this moment it's looking absolutely strange, without any connection with structure. And connecting circular part (on which spawning grenade launcher) with jumppad zone haven't any good visualization. Also, jumppads are very big. Here's needs some custom jumppads and teleporters. Maybe in future I'll change some details here, if I can, because for this time it's not a good playable choice. Thank you for this extension Big Grin

In addition, some problems. This is problems with connecting structure with green zone:

Also, connecting this floor with skybox, I think, isn't good designer idea. Maybe there is should be some fencing, with possibility to view what happening outside here.

Next. What these jumppads doing? Why are them located here?

And teleporters. Why is it looking so weird here, but right one (in cellar room) looks as original? There was left was suppose to be a teleport, and right to be a corridor connecting rooms. Both teleports move into same room. Problem with designing teleports:

I'm glad you like it,and I was afraid you'll hate it. Yep, the map isn't perfect, but still good to play, my friend told me that the map needs more work to be ready, but other people like it.

1) one problem: some parts of the map are visible, so, the only solve was just make that grass, and the idea of the outside was my dream. There weren't other ideas.
2)they're located there because some noobs will want to come to the colums to get some good items (but there are other paths, I know), but the idea wasn't good but there wasn't another idea as well.
3)teleports: I think left one also looks official and cool, so, I thought it's cool and I put there. Right one looks original and its size is comfortable than the left one. But yes, the teleporters move to the same room, but in other direction (one is in screenshot, another is near the mortar)

Man, this map popped up on some server a week ago for me and I was just thinking why we play the same stupid 6 maps all the time when there are all those awesome other maps around, maybe even since decades.
I think if we hate a real map repository where people can submit maps and rate them, plus like a package manager that releases reviewed new map packs, that would be super helpful. Maybe a bit overkill though.
I didn't play it much so I can't say much about layout, item placement, etc. but it seemed ok.
The only minor thing I noticed was that the red portal texture is kind ugly, while the rest of the map looks pretty awesome.
