Hey Fkrs, Anyone know/use a good FREE music editor Huh

I don't really know anything about music, but Audacity is pretty easy to use and fairly popular.

Also checkout Linux MultiMedia Studio (there's a M$ Windows version available on their homepage, despite the name) if you're into creating music. It seems fairly neat. Pretty much everything on this page is free, as well.

Ardour is a pretty nice DAW from what I've read/used.

If you are into creating music and not just editing "finished" soundfiles, i can second the recommendation for ardour. Especially its 3.0 development branch is really sweet Big Grin

Hi, here are some goods music editor : Fruity Loops, Cubase, Pro-Tools
In addition you could use Synthmaker or Synthedit to make your own VST plugins !
