The map and the sky look really nice, but they don't look so futuristic. I think it has to do with the textures.

Maybe more shiny textures?
Also, put some more lights on the map, it looks a little bit dark.

It's a cool map. It doesn't fit the theme, so it likely won't be included in xonotic, but that's okay. It has its own character.
It looks like there are possibilities for jumps with ramps and small chasms. Are these possible?

Right now it looks good but I think you used too much of the same textures/colors everywhere and that everything is a bit too squarish and cubical, if you varied some textures and worked a bit on architecture and details I think it could fit Xonotic's style, as it could easily be made to look futuristic.

The flow seems good altho it's hard to say from screenshots, would have to actually test it to comment on gameplay.

good to see your using nice high res textures!

you might want to use some more textures on the triangular parts and maybe some flat textures on the flat parts, you want to avoid having textures that don't fit perfectly

I played it. It's an interesting map, fun to move around on. However, I got half my usual fps on it. It also seems you've disabled weapon waypoints. How come?

The sky. It's because that sky ( made by Cuinnton) is much better quality then the ones before.

try to play with (r_sky 0)

When pressing a key bound to a weapon, a waypoint indicating that weapon pops up. This doesn't happen on your map.

The map needs more work/ details

you could make a wall here, thats avoid the dark hiding area.

the sloped area looks from the top ok but when look from the buttom on it its better if its flat.

The map needs more eyecandy you could build a steel structure around it.

Btw are you redoing evilspace too, because i found a evilspace2 texture folder in the map Wink

About 10 people played this map (the beta version) on House of Deathmatch (HODM) server about an hour ago. Some people said it looked plain, but everyone loved the skybox. The map seemed to play pretty well, even with 10 people.

I agree with cortez that the map could use more eyecandy.

Does it need to be 27MB? Seems a bit bloated. Are all of those textures being used?

(Also, you may want to update your first post to include the beta link.)

Nice to hear that it played well. but if we want to make high res maps then they will be bigger.

In this beta version everything is deleted what i didn't used in this map.

for eye candy, you could try adding support beams on the corridors, and maybe something on the outside of the structures.

and also, above the whole map, you could add 2 parallel overhead beams maybe with a similar shape for continuity, that go over the whole map.
